Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, fluoroscopy, and other radiologic examinations with precision and care.
Ensure image quality and diagnostic accuracy in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, adhering to safety and quality assurance guidelines.
Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed patient records.
Collaborate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members to meet patient needs efficiently.
Required Skills:
Valid Radiologic Technologist license or certification as per state regulations.
Proven proficiency in operating X-ray and other radiographic equipment.
Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and patient care standards.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with advanced imaging modalities (e.g., CT, MRI) is advantageous.
Prior experience in a hospital setting.
Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certification from an accredited radiologic technology program.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work a 7 on, 7 off schedule, Wednesday through Tuesday.
Commitment to maintaining current licensure and certifications.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development.
