Key Skills and Qualifications:
2-3 years of recent ultrasound experience in a hospital setting
ARDMS or ARRT US certification
Valid RVT, OB/GYN, Abdomen certifications
Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross
Strong understanding of ultrasound procedures and patient positioning
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with advanced ultrasound modalities
Prior experience working in a nicotine-free facility
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system
Additional certifications or training in specialized areas such as vascular or pediatric ultrasound
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
2+ years of relevant hospital-based ultrasound experience
Active professional ultrasound certification (ARDMS or ARRT US)
Other Requirements:
Must hold and maintain ARDMS or ARRT US licensure and certifications
Willingness to work day shifts 4/10's schedule, with rotating week details
Ability to attend orientation sessions at KUKC Campus and Olathe facility
No on-call or holiday shift requirements
Client-specific protocols including nicotine-free environment policies
