Licenses/Certifications: ARDMS/CCI registered or registry eligible; State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License; BLS certification
Experience: 2+ years of echocardiogram experience preferred
Pay & Benefits
Hourly Rate: $53.60

What You’ll Do
Perform technically proficient 2D, M-mode, and Doppler cardiac exams on adult and pediatric patients.
Coordinate exam scheduling, patient transportation, and billing information accuracy.
Assist cardiologists during exams by preparing and measuring M-modes, exchanging pertinent information to aid diagnosis.
Manage delivery, pickup, and distribution of dictations in a timely manner.
Respond to patient needs during procedures and report any changes in patient condition.
Maintain and order Echo supplies, keep exam rooms clean and organized.
Log patient and exam records accurately and faithfully.
Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
Provide on-call coverage for emergency echo exams, as established by department policies.
Ensure equipment quality control and coordinate repair as needed.
Stay current on advances in echocardiography and seek mentorship or advice to enhance skills.
Assist with additional cardiac procedures as needed.
What You Need
Valid ARDMS/CCI registration or registry-eligible status; comparable national accreditation accepted
State of New Mexico Echo Sonographer License
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of echocardiogram experience preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and manual dexterity skills
Ability to work efficiently under stressful conditions and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
