We are seeking a dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team on a travel basis, working day shifts to support surgical teams during critical procedures. In this role, you will be an essential member of the surgical team, assisting surgeons by preparing instruments and maintaining a sterile field to ensure successful surgical outcomes. Your contributions will directly support patient safety and the smooth operation of surgical services across diverse hospital settings.
Required Skills:
Certification in Surgical Technology from an accredited program
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Knowledge of instrument handling, sterilization, and cleansing procedures
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Prior experience (1+ years preferred) in an acute care hospital operating room or instrument care environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with advanced surgical equipment or specialized procedures
Exposure to diverse surgical specialties
Skills in inventory management and equipment sterilization techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program strongly preferred
Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Certified as a Surgical Technologist; BLS certification from AHA required
Weekend and on-call availability
Willingness to travel; reimbursement for travel, licensure, certification, and related expenses provided
Ability to work physical demanding tasks involving standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods
Compliance with universal precautions and safety protocols to prevent exposure to infectious materials
Working hours are from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with an hourly pay rate of $40.20. The position starts promptly on 11/16/2025.
