Required Skills:
Certified Surgical Technologist certification from an accredited organization
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Strong knowledge of instrument handling, sterilization, and surgical procedures
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively in English
Minimum of 1 year experience in an acute care hospital OR surgical environment preferred
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with cross-departmental float duties
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical settings and teams
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Graduation from a recognized Surgical Technology program strongly preferred
Prior travel surgical technologist experience or working in diverse hospital environments is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Valid surgical technologist certification and BLS certification from AHA are mandatory
Willingness to travel and work in different hospital settings as needed
Ability to work 8-hour day shifts (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) starting from 02/11/2025
Flexibility for call responsibilities: 1-2 on-call nights and 1-2 weekend shifts per schedule
Willingness to float to other departments as required
