Travel: RN - Critical Care - NIGHTS
Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse seeking an exciting opportunity to make a difference in critical care environments? Join our dynamic team as a Travel RN specializing in Critical Care during night shifts. This role offers a unique chance to work in diverse settings, develop your skills, and enjoy a rewarding travel nursing experience while providing exceptional patient care.
In this position, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality critical care to a diverse patient population during overnight hours. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and compassionate care, aligning with organizational standards and goals. This role is ideal for proactive, adaptable, and compassionate RNs ready to contribute to high-stakes clinical environments in a travel capacity.
Required Skills:
Valid New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
BLS Certification from AHA
ACLS Certification from AHA
TNCC certification preferred
Proven ability to manage critically ill patients
Strong Clinical decision-making and communication skills
Knowledge of critical care protocols and practices
Ability to demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and compassion
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in critical care units such as ICU, ED, or PACU
Prior travel nursing experience
Additional certifications in specialty areas
Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
At least 1-2 years of recent critical care experience in a hospital setting
Other Requirements:
Ability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM
Willingness to float between different units and facilities as needed
Commitment to safety and infection control protocols
Must handle high-pressure situations effectively
Travel reimbursement, licensure, certification, and additional allowances provided as applicable
