Required Skills:
Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
BLS Certification from AHA
Proven knowledge of procedures and patient care for specific age groups served
Excellent communication skills tailored to patient developmental stages
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quick adaptability
Strong clinical judgment and attention to safety protocols
Ability to handle emergency situations with composure
Physical endurance for prolonged standing, mobility, and patient handling
Nice to Have Skills:
Previous experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Cardiology units
Knowledge of advanced monitoring equipment
Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
At least 1-3 years of RN experience in a cardiac, surgical, or critical care setting
Prior travel or agency RN experience is advantageous
Other Requirements:
Valid clinical license and BLS certifications at the time of employment
Flexibility for on-call duties, including 1-2 weekends per month
No floating between departments or locations required
Dedication to maintaining safety and compliance standards across all settings
