In this position, you will assess and treat patients with neuromusculoskeletal and cardiorespiratory conditions, developing personalized care plans aimed at restoring mobility, reducing pain, and promoting overall health. Your expertise will directly impact patients’ recovery journeys, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and their families to ensure optimal outcomes.
Required Skills include strong assessment and evaluation capabilities, decision-making proficiency, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must possess current New Mexico Physical Therapist licensure, BLS certification, and a Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, or Associates Degree in Physical Therapy. Prior experience is not mandatory, making this an ideal opportunity for new graduates or those looking to expand their clinical experience.
Nice-to-Have Skills encompass familiarity with sports medicine, experience working with musculoskeletal injuries, and proficiency with various physical therapy modalities. Additional experience in a fast-paced outpatient setting will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Preferred Education and Experience include a current New Mexico Physical Therapist license, BLS certification, and familiarity with outpatient sports medicine environments. Candidates should be in good physical condition, capable of prolonged standing, walking, and manual tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. The position is a backfill replacement starting on April 6, 2026, with a shift from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Other Requirements involve working in a clean, ventilated environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases and requiring adherence to safety protocols. Flexibility in travel and staying compliant with licensure and certification renewals are essential.
