What You’ll Do
Set up and operate medically prescribed respiratory equipment and supplies
Provide high-quality respiratory care aligned with patient goals
Train patients and caregivers on ventilators and DME devices
Monitor and evaluate patient responses to therapy, adjusting as needed
Collaborate with healthcare team members in discharge planning
Document patient care services accurately in medical records
Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment
Perform maintenance and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
Stay updated with professional development activities
What You Need
Valid Virginia Respiratory Therapist license
2+ years of clinical respiratory care experience
Strong knowledge of respiratory procedures and infection control
Excellent bedside manner and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations
