Position Title: Temp-to-Perm General and OB/GYN Sonographer (Day Shifts)

Location: Lawton, OK

Hourly Rate: $53.60

Certifications Required: ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer specializing in General and OB/GYN imaging to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality internal images, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. This role requires close collaboration with physicians to ensure precise assessment of patient conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain specialized ultrasound equipment to capture clear, detailed sonographic images.
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, with a focus on both general and obstetric/gynecologic imaging.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Accurately document findings and assist physicians in interpreting images for diagnosis.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, standards, and regulations related to ultrasound imaging.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness, calibration, and proper inventory management.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient care and diagnostic accuracy.

Qualifications:
  • ARDMS certification in general and OB/GYN specialties required.
  • Proven experience performing diagnostic ultrasounds, particularly in OB/GYN and general imaging.
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
