Experience: Prior experience in Long Term Care settings preferred

Hourly Rate: $57.62

What You’ll Do:
Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders in a Long Term Care environment
Use standardized assessments and evidence-based practices to develop and adjust individualized care plans
Monitor patient progress and modify treatments accordingly
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare team members
Document all services, assessments, and care plans in electronic health records, ensuring regulatory compliance
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and facility-specific programs
Supervise and support CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists as needed
Adhere to ASHA and state practice acts, ethics, and standards of professional conduct
What You Need:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Missouri
ASHA certification in good standing
Prior experience working with adult populations in LTC preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and adhere to clinical guidelines
