Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown Night Shift – Petoskey, MI

What You’ll Do
  • Provide expert nursing care to cardiovascular stepdown patients post-procedures (PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, pacemakers) and post-op cardiac surgery patients
  • Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatments, adjusting plans of care accordingly
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and medication management
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and timely
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical trials through the CVU research department

What You Need
  • Active RN license in Michigan
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • At least 2 years of clinical experience in a stepdown, ICU, or cardiology setting
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

This role is based in the Cardiovascular Unit at a reputable hospital recognized for excellence in cardiac care.
