What You’ll Do
Provide expert nursing care to cardiovascular stepdown patients post-procedures (PTCA, stents, TAVR, MitraClip, pacemakers) and post-op cardiac surgery patients
Monitor patient vital signs and responses to treatments, adjusting plans of care accordingly
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and medication management
Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately and timely
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical trials through the CVU research department
What You Need
Active RN license in Michigan
BLS and ACLS certifications required
At least 2 years of clinical experience in a stepdown, ICU, or cardiology setting
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

This role is based in the Cardiovascular Unit at a reputable hospital recognized for excellence in cardiac care.
