What You’ll Do
Provide emergency nursing care for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including trauma, burns, and injuries from accidents or violence.
Quickly assess patient conditions and prioritize care based on severity.
Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and hospital staff to stabilize and treat patients.
Document patient care and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
Support both pediatric and adult emergency cases in a fast-paced environment.
Assist with decontamination procedures for hazardous incident responses as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing support and education.
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in New Hampshire or eligibility for licensure
Minimum 2 years of ER or critical care experience
BLS and ACLS certifications (or as required)
Preferred:
Experience working with trauma or in specialized emergency settings
Ability to work nights and handle high-pressure situations

Join Valley Regional Hospital, a leading facility in Claremont, NH, known for its modern amenities and dedicated emergency services. The ER features noise-buffering sliding glass doors, privacy curtains, flat-screen TVs, and specialized trauma and pediatric rooms. The hospital is well-equipped for rapid response, including a decontamination area for hazardous incidents.
