What You’ll Do
Provide evidence-based, skilled rehabilitative treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device support
Assess patient progress and communicate updates with the supervising PT
Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic health records
Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and discharge planning
Support and supervise students as needed, ensuring adherence to professional standards and regulations
Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing education sessions
What You Need
Required:
Valid State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
Ability to provide medically necessary treatments in a long-term care setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Experience working in long-term care or similar rehab environments
