What You’ll Do
Evaluate patient function using formal and informal testing methods.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance.
Execute and update treatment regimens in coordination with physicians.
Schedule and coordinate therapy sessions with patients and support staff.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment options, prognosis, and intervention rationale.
Assist in the delegation to physical therapist assistants and aides to ensure quality patient care.
Document patient progress and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
What You Need
Required:
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license
Proven experience in outpatient physical therapy
Strong assessment, planning, and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience in patient education and team collaboration
Ability to work efficiently within a multidisciplinary team
