What You’ll Do
  • Support clinical interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Provide rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment to patients with cognitive or physical disorders
  • Assist with activities of daily living training, therapeutic exercises, and utilization of supportive devices
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
  • Assist with assessments, treatment planning, and discharge summaries
  • Support patient and family education on ongoing care needs
  • Maintain patient records in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in facility meetings and training sessions as required
  • Support and supervise students under the guidance of the supervising Occupational Therapist

What You Need
  • Valid and active State Occupational Therapist Assistant license/registration
  • 1+ year of experience in LTC or similar setting preferred
  • Key skills in patient assessment, treatment documentation, and teamwork
  • Ability to adhere to NBCOT / AOTA standards and ethical practice
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
