What You’ll Do
Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL functioning disorders
Develop personalized plans of care following regulatory and clinical standards
Perform rehabilitative treatments, including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device support
Monitor patient progress and modify treatments accordingly
Assess treatment outcomes and make referrals based on patient needs
Provide counseling and support to patients, families, and care teams
Document all services accurately in electronic health records
Supervise occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, or students as needed
Participate in care conferences, meetings, and ongoing training
What You Need
Valid occupational therapy license in Oklahoma
NBCOT certification
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably LTC
Strong communication and clinical skills
Ability to work well in a team and follow regulatory guidelines
