What You’ll Do
Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures based on physician requests
Obtain patient histories, explain procedures, and address patient concerns to ensure comfort
Operate, maintain, and calibrate nuclear imaging equipment
Prepare and administer radioactive materials accurately and safely
Follow radiation safety standards to minimize exposure to patients, staff, and self
Maintain detailed documentation and logs of procedures and supplies
Perform routine maintenance and quality assurance on imaging equipment
Assist other radiology areas as needed
Adhere to all regulatory standards and hospital policies
What You Need
Required:
Valid Michigan State licensure and ARRT or NMTCB certification in nuclear medicine
At least 2 years’ relevant experience in nuclear medicine imaging
Strong understanding of radiation safety and quality assurance protocols
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred:
Experience in a hospital or high-volume imaging center
