We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Technologist to support our cath lab team in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of angiographic procedures, providing high-quality imaging and patient care to facilitate accurate diagnoses and effective treatments. Required Skills:
Proven experience operating radiographic and electronic medical equipment, including cine radiography, cardiac output computers, and hemodynamic monitors.
Strong knowledge of angiographic procedures, sterile techniques, and radiographic quality control.
Ability to assist in patient preparation, post-procedure care, and room sanitation.
Excellent attention to detail to manipulate equipment and achieve optimal imaging results.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with the cath lab team and physicians.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with pacemaker troubleshooting and oxygen saturation studies.
Certification or licensure relevant to radiologic technology or cardiology.
Familiarity with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or other advanced imaging modalities.
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab or interventional radiology setting.
Relevant state licensure and certifications such as RCES, RT(R), or equivalent.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work weekdays during standard daytime hours.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification updates.
Travel for training or conferences as needed (reimbursements provided).
Must possess or obtain necessary certifications and licensure prior to employment.
