Are you a dedicated mammography technologist seeking a rewarding temporary opportunity? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mammography Tech to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Required Skills:
Current state licensure and certification in radiologic technology and mammography
Proven experience with mammography procedures and equipment
Ability to independently operate PACS, HIS, and RIS systems
Strong patient care skills with excellent communication
Knowledge of infection control, body substance isolation, and OSHA standards
Proficiency in troubleshooting CR, DR, and PACS applications
Commitment to maintaining departmental competencies and ongoing education
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience working within a hospital or healthcare system
Familiarity with advanced imaging modalities
Additional certifications related to radiology or breast imaging
Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum of an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field
At least 1 year of mammography experience in a clinical setting
Other Requirements:
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Berkshire Health System to qualify
Ability to work scheduled days from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Flexibility to adhere to schedule with no request for extended shifts or block scheduling
Willingness to attend annual mandatory training
No more than 5 days of requested time off during the assignment
Willingness to perform duties in compliance with all hospital policies and standards
This position offers an hourly pay rate of $73.03, with weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive W-2 medical benefits, paid sick time, and various reimbursements including licensure, certification, and travel expenses where applicable.
