Job Description
Join our team as a Temp Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in Harrisonville, MO, and make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives! Required Skills:
Valid ASHA certification and current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Proficiency in conducting standardized assessments and developing individualized care plans
Strong clinical evaluation and intervention skills for communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Ability to document care accurately in electronic medical records, complying with all regulatory standards
Knowledge of ethical standards and adherence to ASHA and state practice acts
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience supervising CFYs or student SLPs
Previous work in rehabilitation or hospital settings
Familiarity with DME procurement and supplies management
Bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Prior experience in a rehab or hospital environment preferred but not mandatory
Active ASHA certification and current state licensure
Other Requirements:
Willingness to participate in required trainings, meetings, and conferences
Ability to obtain necessary DME or supplies as per clinical needs
Flexibility to work at least during daytime hours in Harrisonville, MO
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be needed for certain responsibilities
