Join Our Dynamic Team as a Temp - Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) – Long Term Care (LTC) in Purcell, OK!

What You’ll Need to Succeed:
Strong knowledge of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Proficiency in conducting assessments using standardized, evidence-based methods
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Ability to develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
Attention to detail in documenting patient progress and treatment outcomes
Familiarity with electronic health records and regulatory documentation standards
Critical thinking skills to evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify approaches as needed
Capable of supervising and supporting CFYs or Student Speech-Language Pathologists
Commitment to ethical practice in line with ASHA and state licensure requirements
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in long-term care or geriatric populations
Additional certifications or specialized training in dysphagia or cognitive communication
Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Valid ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Previous experience in LTC or similar clinical settings is highly valued
Other Requirements:
Active ASHA membership and state licensure
Willingness to work daytime hours in Purcell, OK
Ability to comply with all healthcare regulations and participate in required trainings
Reliable transportation and ability to obtain necessary supplies or equipment when needed
