What You'll Need to Succeed:
Strong ability to screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
Proficiency in utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based intervention techniques
Excellent clinical documentation skills compliant with regulatory standards
Solid communication skills to effectively coordinate with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members
Ability to assess patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
Knowledge of regulatory and clinical practice standards
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience supervising or mentoring CFY or student SLPs
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
Bilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Active ASHA Certification and State Licensure
Prior experience working in Long Term Care or similar healthcare environments
Experience with discharge planning and interdisciplinary collaboration
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work dayshift hours
Ability to obtain any necessary supplies or DME as per clinical needs
Commitment to ongoing professional development through trainings and meetings
Valid licensure, certification, and adherence to ethical standards in line with ASHA and State regulations
