Join Our Team as a Temp Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in Long Term Care – Make a Difference Every Day!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to provide essential communication, swallowing, and cognitive therapy services in a long-term care setting. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans that significantly enhance residents’ quality of life. Your expertise will help residents improve their communication abilities, reduce aspirations, and achieve greater independence, making a meaningful impact in their daily lives.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Valid State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Proven experience in speech therapy, particularly in long-term care or similar settings
Strong assessment and treatment planning abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members
Ability to follow regulations and maintain documentation standards accurately
Nice to Have Skills:
Knowledge of age-related cognitive, swallowing, and communication challenges
Bilingual capabilities or multilingual proficiency
Experience with advanced therapeutic techniques or specialized equipment
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent from an accredited program
Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in a healthcare or LTC environment
Other Requirements:
Availability to work day shifts, 8-hour days with a guaranteed 40 hours per week
Willingness to adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing healthcare services
Possession of or willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses prior to start date
Relevant travel or reimbursement considerations when applicable

Hourly Pay Rate: $60.30
