Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Temp Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry on the night shift. This pivotal role offers you the chance to provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with a dedicated team, and make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented RNs ready to bring their expertise to a vibrant healthcare environment in Lima, OH.
What You Will Do:
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of assigned patients on your shift, aligning with age-specific criteria and the hospital’s standards. You will exercise sound clinical judgment based on scientific knowledge and practical skills. Additionally, you will assist in planning, directing, and educating non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries, fostering a collaborative and efficient care team.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Ohio or the ability to obtain licensure
Proven experience in telemetry or cardiac units preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of patient safety protocols and hospital policies
Nice to Have Skills:
BLS/ACLS certification
Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Previous night shift experience
Additional certifications in specialized nursing areas
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum of 1 year of acute care or telemetry nursing experience
Other Requirements:
Must hold or be eligible for Ohio RN licensure
Flexibility to work night shifts
Willingness to participate in hospital orientation and ongoing training
Reliable transportation to and from the healthcare facility
