Join our healthcare team as a Temp Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in OB/GYN, where your expertise directly impacts women’s health and well-being. This vital role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality patient care across varied settings. As a key member of our team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care tailored to individual needs, utilizing your clinical skills and scientific knowledge. Your responsibilities also include supporting and mentoring non-RN staff such as LPNs, PCTs, and Unit Secretaries, ensuring a collaborative and efficient care environment.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Ohio or the ability to obtain one
Proven clinical experience in OB/GYN or women’s health
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and work schedules
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Basic life support (BLS) certification; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS) are advantageous
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in a hospital or outpatient OB/GYN setting
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Experience with patient education and counseling
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in OB/GYN or women’s health settings
Other Requirements:
Ability to travel or work varying shifts as needed
Certifications such as Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are a plus
Willingness to demonstrate flexibility in scheduling and handling varied duties
