Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for patient education and renal care? We are seeking compassionate and skilled professionals to support our renal patients through comprehensive training and personalized care. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in training patients to independently perform peritoneal dialysis at home, providing guidance and support to ensure safety and efficacy.
Manage current dialysis patients, ensuring adherence to treatment plans and responding to patient needs promptly.
Visit patients at their homes when necessary, fostering a patient-centered approach.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the highest standard of renal care.
Required Skills:
Valid RN license in Massachusetts.
Experience with renal dialysis, specifically peritoneal dialysis, is highly preferred.
Strong patient education and communication skills.
Ability to assess patient needs and provide comprehensive training.
Flexibility to travel to patient homes as required.
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience working in home health or outpatient renal services.
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with specific experience in renal care or patient education preferred.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to visit patient residences occasionally.
Valid Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency license (Nursing Pool). This is mandatory for consideration and must be uploaded with your application.
Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
Availability for a 10-hour shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with orientation and possible holiday or overtime requirements.
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are ineligible.
Strict adherence to time-off policies; requests for time off must be approved prior to the shift.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly Pay Rate: $70.35
