What You'll Do:
As a Temp Inpatient Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing expert medication management and support across ICU, L&D, Med/Surg, and ED units. Your role is vital in ensuring safe and effective medication use within our healthcare facility. Enjoy a daytime schedule Monday through Friday, with the chance to work independently during weekends, contributing to a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in patient care.
Required Skills:
2-5 years of pharmacy experience, including hospital or inpatient settings
Previous experience with critical access hospitals preferred
Strong knowledge of medication management and hospital pharmacy procedures
Ability to work independently, especially on weekends
Proficiency with Meditech pharmacy systems; Omnicell familiarity a plus
Excellent communication and decision-making skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in ICU, L&D, M/S, or ED environments
Prior rural hospital experience
Certification in hospital pharmacy practices
Additional familiarity with pharmacy automation systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy (BPharm or PharmD)
Active pharmacy license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain one
Other Requirements:
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the Berlin facility; no local applicants
Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
Willingness to start ASAP and adapt to a rural healthcare environment
Travel and licensure-related reimbursements as applicable
