What You’ll Do
Assist in providing patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
Deliver therapeutic treatments including exercise, massage, gait and balance training, and other interventions
Help support patient mobility and functional progress through hands-on therapy activities
Record and document patient treatment and progress as required by facility protocols
Communicate patient outcomes and updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Support a safe treatment environment and follow care plans and therapeutic protocols
Contribute to a positive patient experience and professional teamwork within the care setting
What You Need Required
Current PTA licensure/certification (as required in Texas)
Ability to work effectively under the direction and supervision of a Physical Therapist
Comfort working in a Long Term Care (LTC) environment
Preferred
Prior experience in rehabilitation or long-term care settings (if available)
Strong documentation habits and clear communication with the supervising PT
