What You’ll Do
Assist in physical therapy treatments by supporting stretches, exercises, and mobility work
Follow instructions from the Physical Therapist to help deliver individualized patient care
Work directly with the Physical Therapist to support treatment plans and communicate updates as needed
Help patients practice skills such as balance training and safe transfers
Move patients between mobility devices (e.g., wheelchairs/walkers) and the therapy area
Speak with families to reinforce best at-home techniques in coordination with therapy guidance
Support the clinic environment by keeping the physical therapy area clean, organized, and ready
Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and filing paperwork
What You Need Required
Current PTA license as required by Washington state
Ability to support patient care across a wide age range, from infants to end-of-life
Preferred
Experience working in Long Term Care (LTC) (preferred, if applicable)
Strong communication skills with patients and families
Comfort assisting with patient mobility and transfers
