What You’ll Do
Provide evidence-based rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders.
Administer procedures including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive devices.
Assess patient progress and coordinate treatment adjustments with supervising Physical Therapist.
Communicate treatment outcomes and progress to the medical team, patients, families, and caregivers.
Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately in electronic health records.
Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and required training sessions.
Support supervision of students when applicable, adhering to all state and professional practice acts.
What You Need
Required:
Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant
1+ year of relevant experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Experience in long-term care settings
Knowledge of state and federal regulatory requirements
