What You’ll Do
Deliver skilled, medically necessary rehabilitative treatment for patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Provide interventions as directed in the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive/supportive devices.
Assess patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed.
Support communication and collaboration with the healthcare team by reporting treatment outcomes, barriers, and progress.
Document treatment and patient care information in the electronic documentation system, including accurate treatment minutes.
Participate in required meetings (as applicable), including patient care conferences and rehabilitation/utilization review meetings.
Follow required professional and documentation practices, including adherence to APTA and state PTA practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics.

Active State Licensure when applicable (PTA)
Ability to provide treatment interventions under the supervision/direction of a Physical Therapist
Commitment to APTA and state-required practice acts, ethics, and professional conduct

Familiarity with documentation and treatment minute recording in EHR systems (preferred; not required)
