What You’ll Do
Provide skilled, medically necessary rehabilitative treatment under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.
Use evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions for patients with physical functioning disorders.
Administer rehabilitative procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive/assistive devices.
Assess patient progress and communicate outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust the treatment plan as needed.
Document care and treatment minutes accurately in the electronic documentation system according to regulatory and clinical requirements.
Report treatment effectiveness and participate in care conferences and required facility/company meetings.
Support patient education and collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and the broader healthcare team.
What You Need
Required
Active State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (when applicable)
Ability to deliver care according to APTA standards and State practice act requirements
Experience: Not specified (relevant clinical readiness expected)
Preferred
Familiarity with long-term care rehabilitation and working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
Comfort documenting clinical care and tracking treatment minutes electronically
