Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant seeking a meaningful role in Long-Term Care? Join our team as a Temp PTA and make a difference in patients' lives by providing essential rehabilitative care tailored to individual needs. Key Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans, reassessing progress, and coordinating discharge processes. You will supervise ancillary staff and ensure clear documentation, collaborating with healthcare teams, patients, and families to promote optimal recovery. Maintaining a safe and compliant practice within state guidelines is essential, along with participating in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
Valid PTA license and current state licensure
Proven experience in physical therapy, ideally in long-term care settings
Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in documentation and compliance standards
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with electronic health records (EHR)
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare documentation requirements
Certifications in CPR/BLS or other relevant specialties
Preferred Education and Experience:
Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting or equivalent
At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in LTC
Other Requirements:
Must be flexible to work days starting November 17, 2025
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and team meetings
Travel reimbursements and licensure/certification support provided when applicable
