PTA - Long Term Care (LTC) - Day Shift in Kerrville, TX

What You’ll Do
  • Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices
  • Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders
  • Administer procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices
  • Assess patient progress and communicate treatment adjustments to supervising Physical Therapist
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic records
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, families, and caregivers
  • Participate in care conferences, meetings, and trainings related to patient care and professional development
  • Support supervision and training of students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist

What You Need
Required:
  • Active State Licensure as a PTA
  • Prior experience in Long Term Care settings preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred:
  • Experience with rehabilitative procedures and assistive devices
