What You’ll Do
Support clinical interventions using evidence-based practices
Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments to patients with physical functioning disorders
Administer procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices
Assess patient progress and communicate treatment adjustments to supervising Physical Therapist
Document all patient interactions and treatment plans accurately in electronic records
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members, patients, families, and caregivers
Participate in care conferences, meetings, and trainings related to patient care and professional development
Support supervision and training of students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
What You Need
Required:
Active State Licensure as a PTA
Prior experience in Long Term Care settings preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred:
Experience with rehabilitative procedures and assistive devices
