Join Our Team as a Temp - PT - Long Term Care (LTC) (Days) in Snyder, TX!
Are you a dedicated physical therapist passionate about making a meaningful difference in patients' lives? We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional to provide outstanding care in a long-term care setting. In this role, you will perform comprehensive patient evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapy strategies to restore mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disability. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supervise supportive staff when appropriate, and ensure thorough documentation and compliance with all regulatory standards. Your efforts will directly enhance the quality of life for your patients, making this position both rewarding and impactful.
Required Skills:
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
Proven experience in assessing and treating patients with mobility impairments
Strong clinical assessment skills, including obtaining patient histories and conducting systems reviews
Ability to develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and patient education
Competence in documenting patient care accurately and promptly
Knowledge of safety standards and infection control protocols
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics settings
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Certification in specialized therapeutic techniques or interventions
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
At least 1 year of professional experience in a rehabilitation or LTC setting is preferred
Other Requirements:
Ability to work a standard 8-hour day shift, starting February 2, 2026
Must be able to work in Snyder, TX, and travel reimbursements are available if applicable
Current state license and applicable certifications
Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards
