Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist to provide exceptional inpatient care on a temporary basis in Pittsfield, MA. This role offers a stable 32-hour workweek, primarily scheduled during daytime hours from Monday to Friday with every other Saturday, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes through personalized therapy services, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in developing comprehensive care plans.
Required Skills:
Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
Proven experience in inpatient settings
Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques, modalities, and assistive devices
Ability to assess patients’ needs and develop effective treatment plans
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with orthoses, prostheses, and wheelchairs
Familiarity with ADL equipment and therapy modalities
Prior experience working within hospital or inpatient rehabilitation settings
Bilingual abilities a plus
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Minimum of 1 year of relevant inpatient experience
Current licensure and required certifications in good standing
Other Requirements:
Ability to work scheduled shifts during daytime hours
Willingness to participate in orientation and comply with facility policies
No physical accommodation requests for block schedules or 10/12-hour shifts will be considered
Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility or seeking local travel are not eligible
