Join Our Team as a Temp - PT - Inpatient (Days) in Pittsfield, MA
Are you a dedicated Physical Therapist looking to make a meaningful impact in inpatient care settings? We are seeking a highly motivated professional to provide exceptional physical therapy services in a dynamic hospital environment. This temporary role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, enhance your skills, and support patient recovery during a crucial stage of care.
What You’ll Bring:
Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles and practices
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and patients
Ability to assess patient needs and develop tailored care plans
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Proficiency in using rehabilitation equipment such as splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, ADL equipment, and modalities
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior inpatient or acute care experience
Certification in specialized therapeutic techniques
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent)
Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts
Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience preferred
Other Requirements:
Ability to work Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Must be able to commit to a 32-hour weekly schedule; 40 hours are not available
No shift accommodation requests will be considered
Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
Physical ability to perform patient assessments and treatments
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive hourly pay rate of $63.65
Guaranteed 32-hour weekly schedule with a 40-hour guarantee
Weekly pay via direct deposit
Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2)
Robust referral bonus program
Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws
Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable
Holiday and overtime multipliers at 1.25%
