Temp - Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care (LTC)

Required Skills:
Valid state licensure as an LVN or LPN
Proven experience in long-term care or similar settings
Strong knowledge of medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
Excellent communication and documentation skills, including electronic health records
Ability to supervise and collaborate with licensed and unlicensed staff
Critical thinking and observation skills to monitor residents’ physical and mental well-being
Ability to work independently and follow regulatory compliance
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with wound vacs, gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings
Familiarity with infection control practices
Prior experience working in rural or remote locations
bilingual abilities or additional language skills
Preferred Education and Experience:
Graduation from an accredited Licensed Vocational or Practical Nursing program
Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in long-term care or a related setting
Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
Other Requirements:
Own reliable transportation; due to location, public transportation options are limited
Availability for shift coverage including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to navigate a rural setting located approximately two hours from Boston, MA
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and staff meetings
Certification in medication administration as required by state regulations
