Required Skills:
Certified Pathologists' Assistant (ASCP) certification required; valid and current.
Extensive knowledge of gross specimen dissection, description, and tissue labeling.
Proficiency with Hospital Information System (HIS), Laboratory Information System (LIS), and laboratory instrumentation.
Ability to exercise independent judgment, organize workflows, and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and specimen care.
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability in emergency situations.
Ability to work efficiently under stress for extended periods.
Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts as needed.
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience performing postmortem examinations.
Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and compliance standards.
Prior experience in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting.
Knowledge of assorted laboratory instrumentation beyond core requirements.
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or higher education equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pathology laboratory or related setting.
Other Requirements:
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered.
Must include the permanent address in profile uploads to avoid processing delays.

No more than 5 days of request for time off will be approved.
Availability to start on December 29, 2025.
Shift hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Hourly Pay Rate: $71.02.
Willingness to adapt to work additional hours or shifts when necessary.
Must adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.
