What You’ll Do
Provide professional nursing care for telemetry patients during night shifts
Monitor cardiac rhythms, administer cardiac drips, and manage EKGs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Document patient treatments and healthcare information accurately
Respond to clinical emergencies and coordinate patient needs swiftly
Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards
Participate in unit-specific emergency team assignments, if necessary
What You Need
Required:
Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
Minimum 1+ year experience in Telemetry or Medical-Surgical units
BLS certification
Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and medication management
Preferred:
NIH certification
ACLS certification
Experience with Epic EMR system
