Required Skills:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (National Certification required)
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Minimum of three years’ experience as a Surgical Technician
Strong knowledge of instrument handling, sterilization, and aseptic techniques
Experience assisting in orthopedic surgeries, including prosthetic management
Ability to anticipate surgeon needs, manage supplies, and coordinate with vendors
Excellent attention to detail, dexterity, and adherence to safety standards
Ability to respond efficiently to emergency situations and demonstrate integrity in technical practices
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience in trauma surgery
Knowledge of other surgical specialties beyond orthopedics
Leadership or mentorship experience within surgical settings
Familiarity with hospital quality improvement activities
Preferred Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Certified Surgical Technician with ongoing maintenance of certification
At least three years of relevant surgical tech experience, especially in orthopedic trauma cases
Other Requirements:
Valid BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
Flexibility to adapt to changing surgical schedules or procedures
Open to travel and working day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, starting as soon as possible from September 11, 2025
