Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Surgical Technician to provide essential support in our surgical department. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of surgical procedures, ensure sterile environments, and contribute to positive patient outcomes. This is a perfect position for experienced professionals looking to advance their careers in a reputable healthcare setting.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedics and/or neuro surgery settings
Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterilization techniques, and aseptic procedures
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-stakes environments
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from NBSTA or equivalent
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with GWI surgery or related specialties
Prior experience working in high-volume surgical centers or hospitals
Additional certifications in surgical technology or patient safety
Relevant clinical experience in orthopedic or neurological surgical procedures is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
Must hold current BLS certification (NBSTA)
Ability to work scheduled hours from 8:30 am to 9:00 pm
Availability for 13-week assignment starting July 15, 2024
Valid licensure and certifications, and willingness to travel if required
