What You Will Do:
As a CVOR Technician, you will assist in cardiovascular operating rooms, ensuring smooth surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment, and supporting surgical teams during complex cardiac surgeries. Your expertise will directly impact patient recovery and safety in a critical care setting.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience in a Level 1 trauma center
Recent, strong scrub experience on cardiac surgeries
Previous circulating experience in cardiovascular procedures
CST License and BLS certification
Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with flexibility for rotating weekends and holidays
Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience working in multiple OR environments such as Bell OR, Cambridge OR, or SPD
Familiarity with float requirements and flexible scheduling
Knowledge of recent advances in cardiac surgical protocols
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license
At least 2 years of hands-on CVOR surgical experience in a trauma or high-volume cardiac center
Other Requirements:
Ability to work 12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 18:30
Availability for rotating weekends, holidays, and approximately once per month on-call duties
Nicotine-free facility environment
Willingness to travel and submit necessary licensure, certification, and reimbursement documentation
