What You'll Do:
As a Surgical Technologist, you'll prepare operating rooms, arrange surgical instruments, anticipate the needs of surgeons, and support the surgical team throughout procedures. Your expertise will help ensure each surgery runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Required Skills:
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a surgical setting within your specialty
Current NBSTA Surgical Technologist Certification (CST) or equivalent
Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow strict safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with specific surgical specialties or complex procedures
Additional certifications in specialized surgical techniques or patient safety
Bilingual abilities for a diverse patient population
Preferred Education and Experience:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTA is required
At least 2 years of hands-on surgical technologist experience in a hospital environment
Other Requirements:
Schedule: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, 13-week assignment
No local candidates within 50 miles—this position requires candidates willing to commute or relocate
Ability to start by May 6, 2024
Valid licensure, certification, and relevant travel or reimbursement arrangements as applicable
