Required Skills:
Board certification or eligible in General Surgery.
Valid medical license in the relevant state.
Proven experience in ER calls, inpatient, and outpatient surgical procedures.
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Nice to Have Skills:
Prior experience with weekend call coverage or emergency surgical cases.
Familiarity with hospital-based surgical workflows and protocols.
Additional certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) or similar.
Preferred Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
At least 3 years of post-residency surgical practice.
Experience with trauma and inpatient surgical management is preferred.
Other Requirements:
Availability for weekend call shifts, primarily Friday 7 am through Monday 7 am twice monthly.
Willingness to be within driving distance of the site preferred.
Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and handle emergent cases effectively.
