Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, NYS licensure, and clinical certification in Speech Pathology or its equivalent. Completion of a clinical fellowship year is required. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment health clearance.
Responsibilities:
Administer evaluations and diagnose speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders
Establish and implement treatment programs for individuals with deficits in speech, language, cognition, voice, and/or swallowing
Schedule patients for evaluations and treatments based on their needs
Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding various disorders
Participate in program development for speech therapy, the PMR department, and Service Line
Prepare reports and communicate effectively with referral sources and treatment agencies
Engage in community programs related to speech therapy
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
NYS licensure and clinical certification in Speech Pathology or equivalent
Successful completion of clinical fellowship year
Ability to pass pre-employment health clearance
