Temp - Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) - Rehab (Days) Oregon, MO

Key Responsibilities:
Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders according to regulatory and clinical standards
Develop and implement individualized plans of care utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments as necessary, and document outcomes accurately
Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding patient progress and treatment strategies
Complete comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain detailed patient documentation in electronic health records
Record treatment minutes precisely, adhering to all regulatory and clinical documentation requirements
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, trainings, in-services, and conferences
Obtain necessary DME or supplies as per practice standards and support supervision of CFY or student SLPs
Uphold adherence to ASHA and state licensure, practice acts, and ethical standards
Required Skills:
Valid state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with active ASHA certification
Proven experience in speech, language, cognitive, or swallowing disorder rehabilitation
Strong assessment and clinical intervention skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Competence in electronic documentation and regulatory compliance
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience supervising CFY or student SLPs
Familiarity with assistive devices and client-specific equipment
Bilingual abilities or experience working with diverse populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
At least one year of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a rehabilitative setting
Other Requirements:
Ability to travel within the facility for service delivery
Commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with all licensure and certification requirements
Willingness to support supervision and mentorship responsibilities
