We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to provide exceptional care in a long-term care setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to evaluate, treat, and support patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, ensuring they receive the best possible care while working within a supportive, patient-centered environment. What You Bring to the Table:
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language pathology principles
  • Proficiency with standardized assessments and evidence-based practices
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to develop personalized treatment plans and adapt them based on patient progress
  • Commitment to regulatory compliance and documentation standards
  • Capable of supervising and mentoring CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with diverse patient populations in long-term care settings
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and DME procurement
  • Multidisciplinary teamwork experience
  • Additional certifications or training in swallowing disorders or cognitive therapy

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active ASHA certification and State Licensure
  • Prior clinical experience in long-term care or similar settings is highly desirable

Other Requirements:
  • Active licensure and certification compliant with ASHA and state regulations
  • Ability to participate in facility meetings, trainings, and conferences
  • Willingness to travel within the facility as needed to support team and patient goals
