What You Bring to the Table:
Strong knowledge of speech and language pathology principles
Proficiency with standardized assessments and evidence-based practices
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Ability to develop personalized treatment plans and adapt them based on patient progress
Commitment to regulatory compliance and documentation standards
Capable of supervising and mentoring CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists
Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with diverse patient populations in long-term care settings
Familiarity with assistive technology and DME procurement
Multidisciplinary teamwork experience
Additional certifications or training in swallowing disorders or cognitive therapy
Preferred Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active ASHA certification and State Licensure
Prior clinical experience in long-term care or similar settings is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
Active licensure and certification compliant with ASHA and state regulations
Ability to participate in facility meetings, trainings, and conferences
Willingness to travel within the facility as needed to support team and patient goals
