Join Our Team as a Temp Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) - Rehab (Days) in Oregon, MO

We are looking for a passionate and skilled professional to join our rehabilitation team on a temporary basis. This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing vital communication, cognitive, and swallowing therapy to diverse patient populations. With a focus on clinical excellence and compassionate care, you will play a crucial part in improving patient outcomes and supporting their journey to recovery.

Required Skills:
  • Valid licensing and certification from ASHA and the State of Missouri as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Proven experience in assessing and treating communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools and intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
  • Ability to evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify care plans accordingly.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Capacity to supervise and mentor CFYs or Student Speech-Language Pathologists.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience working in rehab or hospital settings.
  • Familiarity with DME procurement and supplies management.
  • Additional certifications related to specialized therapy areas or specific patient populations.
  • Bilingual abilities or multilingual communication skills.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting.
  • Membership and active involvement with ASHA.

Other Requirements:
  • Must be able to work day shifts during the assignment.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to participate in required meetings and trainings.
  • Ability to obtain necessary supplies and equipment per clinical standards.
  • Willingness to support and supervise junior staff or students as needed.

This position offers an hourly pay rate of $56.95, with benefits including competitive pay packages, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical coverage (W-2), paid sick time, and a generous referral bonus program.
