What You’ll Do
Perform high-risk OB / maternal fetal medicine ultrasound examinations in a clinic setting
Complete 1st–3rd trimester imaging and required measurements/screenings
Conduct comprehensive fetal anatomical surveys and advanced specialty views
Perform and interpret echocardiography-related imaging including fetal echo
Support cases involving multiple pregnancy, nuchal translucency screening, and placenta/cord Doppler assessments
Assist with special procedures as needed, including amniocentesis and CVS
Capture and document key findings using EPIC and Viewpoint systems
What You Need
Required
ARDMS (OB) with (FE) certification(required)
Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience
Demonstrated competency in high-risk OB / maternal fetal medicine / obstetrics
Familiarity with advanced fetal imaging (examples include): abdominal measurements, bone lengths, cerebellum/ventricles, cardiac views for fetal echo, gender, diaphragm, umbilical cord Doppler, and more
Preferred
Experience with amniocentesis
Experience with PACS
About the Assignment
Join a maternal fetal/high-risk OB clinic in Mount Pleasant, SC conducting a typical daily volume of 5–8 scans/day. The role focuses on advanced fetal assessments (including Level II/BPP-type evaluations and fetal echo) with GE Voluson E10 equipment, supported by EPIC and Viewpoint charting. Patient age group includes adolescents and adults; patient diagnoses include high-risk pregnancy cases such as AMA, TVCL, growth, anatomy, and BPP.
Expected start date notes: The expected start date is based on Novant’s schedule and is subject to change. Travelers may start on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday of the first week and must be fully available to accommodate schedule changes. Missing any portion of orientation may result in a delayed or canceled start. Novant will confirm the final start date on the Tuesday prior to the start week.
